Have there been times where you seem overwhelmed by life and need to escape? Are there also times where you can’t identify the emotions you are in?

Here’s a formula I’ve used to create better emotional states and gain personal control over the kinds of change I want to create:

  1. Gain Awareness of patterns of emotions in your life.
  2. Reflect on their impact.
  3. Acknowledge your troubles or emotional state.
  4. Decide that you need to change and find your outcome.
  5. Find and install multiple Strategies to shift yourself out of your unresourceful emotional state.

I’ll cover specific strategies on each of the steps in subsequent posts.

It really depends on when you started to take stock of what you had been doing and where you ought to be going. [...]
