NLP Training: Anchoring

Okay! Let’s get started on a simple lesson on anchoring.

Anchoring basically refers to the process by which we get conditioned to certain behaviors, and there are several kinds of anchors. Any external stimulus could be an anchor, and the key characteristic about an anchor is that when you re-present the anchor, it triggers of the emotional state that was associated with it.

NLP Technique: Forgiveness

Forgiveness is important as part of natural human functioning because without it, it breeds negativity, sarcasm and the desire to take revenge. We all know that revenge does not work out that well, and with new research, we can tell people who are unable to let go of the past often carry on more than just negative thoughts – it sometimes becomes far more than just a thought. It could manifest in the body as a pain or possibly even a disease. Forgiveness allows an individual to move forward much more easily.Happy Ramadhan, Eid Mubarak - ??? ??? ?????

NLP Techniques: How To Use Them

There’s actually a very wide range of NLP Techniques available out there in the world, and they’ve been “invented” by various people in the NLP community. The truth is that once you have mastered the NLP you can develop your own techniques.

At the moment, the best way to utilize NLP techniques is to find a community of practice. All you need are three people to begin with and start off with a Practitioner licensing training program. (To be notified, just register on the top left signup box in my main page)

NLP Techniques – Changing Habits

I’m constantly surprised by the fact that many people have habits they claim they can’t change. The things that are happening in the mind includes:

  • lack of awareness of the pattern of habit
  • a belief that the habit cannot be changed
  • a greater association of pleasure experience that is associated with keeping the habit
  • pain associated with changing the behavior
  • no need to change the behavior
  • possibly positive payoff for a negative behavior

NLP has several processes that enable this to be eliminated including

  • smoking addiction
  • snacking

NLP Techniques: How To Put Someone Into The State Of Relaxation

Most people who are familiar with NLP are able to put other people into a deep state of relaxation. In order for you to know how to do this effectively, you need to understand the use of the Milton model.

Milton Erickson, it is frequently referred to as one of the pillars of NLP. Richard Bandler and John Grinder modeled after Erickson’s approach to hypnosis. And all they did was extract the linguistic categories in his language patterns! The overall result is an astonishing work that has transformed ordinary people into extraordinary hypnotists.

NLP Techniques: Rapport Building

NLP is very commonly associated with rapport building techniques. Well, let’s get some things right – rapport building techiniques were modelled in the therapeutic arena, but can be easily mapped across to other areas in life.

There are several areas to pay attention to. Rapport building is really a process of creating similarity. So, remember this mantra: increase similarities, reduce differences. To test if someone is in rapport with you, you simply need to make yourself slightly different (e.g. change your posture) and you will realize that others are actually “following” you.

NLP Techniques: Pain relief

Why am I not surprised that more and more people are feeling pain?

Pain the neck. Pain in the back. Pain in the shoulders. Pain in the wrist. Pain in the knee.

Is it possible for NLP to help one to relieve pain? Well, since there are pain receptors in our brain, and we can manage our brain, it is definitely possible for you to reduce and possibly eliminate pain in your body. One approach you can use is to observe yourself and to test out what it feels like to remove feeling in general. It is possible for you to basically focus and begin to feel that your arm is getting warm or even numb.
